Short summary
The cost-effectiveness of flood damage countermeasures at the building level based on the flood risk of the location has been studied for a new wooden detached house construction, existing condominium renovation, and business office location into the 1st floor of a RC building. As a result, it was demonstrated that flooding countermeasures with a certain degree of applicability can be realized in the three building types and situations considered.
