This study focuses on small communities in semi-arid regions that often lack data to effectively manage their water resources. One such community in Brazil relies on a small reservoir called Lagoa Cercada. This study combines monthly water level and quality data with remote sensing information to better understand water storage and flows in the reservoir. This research can help inform future water management strategies for small communities in semi-arid regions.
