Short summary
In the Garonne valley, water is extremely important. In addition to the Garonne River, its accompanying alluvial aquifer located in the valley, is identified as an essential reservoir. This aquifer is in hydraulic contact with the river. Artificial groundwater recharge is one of the possible adaptation strategies in water resource management. It is economically interesting to improve the quantitative and qualitative status of groundwater bodies, and it can respond to local problems.
