Short summary
Water level and subsidence measurements from extensometers can be used to extract important hydraulic parameters of each aquifer in a multi-level aquifer system if cyclical pumping has occurred and water level data for each aquifer is available. Fourteen years of water-level and subsidence data are analyzed for Las Vegas Valley and data analysis of daily and seasonal pumping patterns allow for the calculation of hydraulic conductivity and elastic and inelastic storage properties of the aquifer.
